I had bought this network adapter about a year ago from a Linux-friendly retailer specifically because it said it would work harmoniously with Ubuntu. I assume WEP will also.
WPA works for me. Upon further inquiries on AskUbuntu. When I inquired about it on the Ubuntu Forums, I was informed that this chipset was last known to work on Ubuntu Visit the following links: Before I had lubuntu Quick copy and paste from that forum here, for keeping uubntu simple.
